To cut a long story short, my 3 amigos have been on since I pulled the car out of the container after it's 6 week trip from the UK.

So they have been on for sometime, and my newly arrived Hawkeye told me the front side right was the issue. Roads here in Lae are rough and the TC/ABS still worked so thought the issue could not be too serious.

Anyway, got under the car today and fiddled with the sensor wires plus pressed what I believe to be a grommet at the hub, then cleared the fault with Hawkeye and Bobs, your Uncle, fault cleared. Done 50klms over any pothole I could find ?(which isnt difficult) and still no 3 Amigos.

Can't believe it! Something else has to now bit me on the bum!

Cheers, Jerry

Just a well you have a good 4wd! My memory of potholes in Lae 20 years ago is you needed low range for some streets. Gutsy move bringing in a land rover as well. Not many in the country.

No need to be confused. I sent him what he needs.

I play by my rules

edit: But yes, you should look in the good oil first. A lot of effort has been put in to make it easier for us all to navigate and find direct solutions to our many problems. Thanks to all who put these together....

The roads here are not good.

It's the only D2 on this side of the country, there are about 4-5 in Port Moresby. Hence I bought he Hawkeye and being a V8 a little more straight forward to do preventitive maintainance on.

I felt, as I could not see it, the little rubber grommet "give" very slightly on the hub so was hoping when clearing the fault that it would remain clear. And it has. Very lucky!!
