Hi guys,

I know this is a favourite tire size for all of us Defender owners and on another 4wd forum I noticed they are running a summer special at the moment.

Lindsays tires in Mt Evelyn are advertising the BFG 255 85 16 MT for $299

I have no affiliation with this company, nor do I know the guy personally, but if I wasn't selling the Puma I would be ordering a new set to replace the current 265/75's
Just wanted to pass on the details on what appears to be a great deal.

They are also running some other specials on different sizes but I don't want to break the rules of the forum, I hope I am not already? I can cut and paste other deals though if anyone wishes?

Cheers
Rob

Hi Rob, off topic but as a fellow Puma owner I'm always interested when someone is selling theirs - wondering the why of? (if you dont mind that is!!)

That is a good price for 255's:D

Pretty sure I paid $330+ for mine over a year ago, and I had shopped around. They were in short supply then.

Hi Marty,

With a 2nd kid on the way (due today!) the Defer had to make way for a more family friendly, more road going car unfortunately. It will certainly not be my last one though.

Hey - congratulations on the new addition - I hope it goes well for you all - wow, arrival of kids is something else - all the best! Yeah, the back seat does not have much room, especially if you have fitted aftermarket seats and longer seat rails - when my grandies ride in the back I dont need to worry about the child locks cos the seats cover the door handles!! Mind you, they love to ride in the Puma........
