Question for the greater base of knowledge...
From time to time i will have 'clunks' from the rear pf my 05' 110 and my mechanic (reputable) will usually track it down to a loose bolt that mounts the body to frame. Well i have one again.... I think. Same trigger, same sound.
Now i'm just a weekend mechanic, but i have been under the ol'deefer and can't seem to find any loose bolts. Are there any recommendations, or diagrams of where the body mounting bolts are and what size, etc...?
Any help at all tracking down the sneaky loose bolt would be appreciated.

Cheers,

can you provide more details about the clunk?
does it happen driving fast/slow, while turning, during articulation etc.

Sure, the clunk comes from left rear upon sharp turns to left (body roll to right), and exagerated when doing this coming off a bump (speed bump, curb, etc...)

I've had something similar to what you've described. If I remember correctly it was the bolt holding the sway bar which had worn. The worn bolt now being smaller in diameter would allow the sway bar to move slightly. It would get jammed on one side then clunk when it moved to the other side.

Check all bushes, the bolts themselves may be fine..

Check the Upper A frame bush bolts, (Need to be VERY tight) and sway bar links/ bushes too.
