Who??

Attenborough or the so called 'Academic'??

Attenborough, in my personal opinion, is excellent. I love his doco's, as do my kids.

I can't believe people DON'T like this bloke (Attenborough).

EDIT: Just re-read your post, and by removing your ill-placed ?, I now understand your comment better, and in different terms. :p

I agree, the 'Academic' is obviously trying to gain notability or publicity by attacking THE king of doco's with unfounded accusations.

Disclaimer: I don't care if anyone's gay or straight, and I'm not homophobic.

Voyeristic tendancies? I shudder to think of what he might do in his spare time. :(

Sadly the press will print anything that any neville nobody says, as long as it's controversial.

Dr Mills – who has previously criticised such documentaries for invading animals’ rights to privacy – said: "These programmes make a valuable contribution to environmental awareness and how people think about the world around them. They are highly regarded and educational but they should also be offering alternative interpretations of animal behaviour.

I guess he is a bit short of funding at the moment and needs a new grant.

A proposal to research ways and means for snails, bugs, birds and monkeys to give consent and retain IP rights to their image and likeness should bring in some cash.

Then again, maybe he should just stick with research into comedy.

Maybe not, if his attempts at being serious are this cringe-worthy, I doubt his attempts at humour would be particularly funny.

A whole 3 instances cited... Strong argument there.

Seems if you can put 'gay' and some kind of negative conitation together you can pretty well get anything printed these days. By extension, Is he suggesting that every time guys hug each other they are getting homeosexual? Big call that one

memo to BBC.

the doco's could be re-released with special features such as new soundtracks

'gay' soundtrack . . . . "they embraced to show their homosexuality"

'bi' soundtrack . . . . "they embraced to show their bisexuality"

'transgender' soundtrack . . . . "they embraced because they aren't sure what gender they are"

'cathelic priest' soundtrack . . . . "they embraced because the male priest pressured and threatened the young alter boy with stories"

'sports' soundtrack . . . . "after a hard fight, they embraced each other showing true sportsmanship"

or

an 'honest' soundtrack . . . . "they embraced, i don't know why"
