I have a small hole where I thought I should have a grease nipple on my front drive shaft.
There is definitely no grease nipple any where on the shaft.
Are they difficult to get?
Do I need a special Land Rover one or are all grease nipples the same?
Where would I get one from?
I know I shouldn't have had 'a quick look' under the car. :p

The early (1999-2000) front shafts have a hex head plug screwed into the sliding spline section - to lubricate the spline this is removed and a standard grease nipple screws in . The later shafts (from early 2001 onwards) have a different spline arrangement that incorporates a bearing and do not have the removable plug.

The shaft with bearing was only fitted to td5 autos.
