I have a 01 D2 V8 (220000) auto, have valley oil leak(not that bad), rear welch pulg water leak( not that bad), two inch lift, copper discovers, snorkel.

I use the car as a daily drive just top up the fuilds every week and it keeps going.

Question: Mates going to frazer in october 2013. Can we make it ?

Probably, but replacing the welsh plug and valley gasket wouldn't hurt.

Which plug is it? There's some small ones in the back of the heads as well as the block, pretty sure they're water not oil. Got some of most of the plugs too if needed.

I'd allow a weekend to pull everything and replace as it's fiddly rather than difficult. Or a solid day. Voice of experience having started a head gasket one Sunday at 10am needing car on Monday.
