Does anyone have a 36mm fan removal tool, that they are willing to let me use on the weekend to change the thermostat on my TD5 discovery?
I'm thinking of buying this set, but it wouldn't be here for another week.

Does anyone have a puller that I could use to get the fan off the camshaft of my Honda (bike) ?

I have a nice little hydraulic puller that might do the trick...
This one:

Looks terribly complex ! I was thinking more along the lines of a wind off one on a bolt. I've no doubt that somewhere in all that kit is the relevant parts to do the job I need though !

The one I've got isn't much more complicated to use than that... available to borrow and give you a run-down if you like.

I wonder which of you is closer to Petrie Markets. I'll probably be there tonight with the 59 club..... and could make a detour.

Thanks dunk_98 for the loan of the fan tool, I changed the thermostat today.
I have ordered the difflock.com two part fan removal tool (in my picture above) should get that next week ready for next time.
Cheers

Cats are good for fan removal.... Not so good for the cat... Or the fan for that matter!!! Sorry, couldn't resist. Cats used to have a habit of crawling through the fan on Early Defenders (inc mine) in the UK as it was a warm hidden place.. not so good when you fire up the next morning and find fan blades on the road! Cat re appeared a week later with a tail shaped like a cork screw. Finally the 6 piece fan made sense!!!!! :D
