this may have been posted before but I just bought a set of new bridgstone dueller a/t tyres LT265/60/R18
these are light truck build & only 1.5% larger in diameter &10mmwider than standard size.
had 2 sets of general grabber at2 tyres before & got reasonable run - 55000km each set, lot of off road towing 3 tonne van - but too many punctures.
first light truck tyre I have seen that fits without any problems - spare only just fits in spare area under rear but it fits.
only new but quiet on bituemen & will see how they go over time

Thanks for your post - I'll follow it with interest as I am considering a set of the Duelers as my next set of tyres - currently have GG AT2's on and they have been pretty good, although mostly road use - not much time in the dirt :( - keep us informed of any "developments".
cheers

I went for a set of these recently on my RRS, were the only L/T tyre I could find sub $400:o
Had them on for a couple of thousand ks and all good so far:D
There is a slight hum at speed on the highway, but the radio/roof rack soon drowns that out!
Have a trip planned for Fraser Is. in June, so will report back on sand performance after then. Have done/will be doing a couple of short trips in Vic, the first was reported on in the "RRS RUBBISH OFF ROAD?" thread, with some pics & video:cool:

I priced a set of these up recently at a WA outlet. Was a bit surprised at how the conversation went as I was initially told that these were $500 and something each (due to shock I can't remember exact number). I quickly said I thought they were a lot less as I was sure I had read on the forum a number in the $300's. The price was quickly re-evaluated to be $382 ea. fitted and balanced.
Bloody hell! Come in spinner or what.
