Shredding a box of old documents I found my old rego paper, period ending 25 March 1987 for my funnest Land Rover
reg no SI 1954 eng no 1117DS220
gvm 1950 cap 700 tare 1250 kg's
insurance $89.65 rego fee $51.00 (cheap in those days, eh)
This was one of my favourite Landys & by far the most fun to drive.

a rare half pic of it above, next to the bare metal '49 I just picked up from Zerbies Orchard in Doncaster for $80.00 , (complete with Hemi 245 in it  ) - I have no recollection of what I did with that 80" but I do know I did restore & register another 49 model that I also snared the rego SI-1949 plate for, wonder where they are now ??
(BTW the indicators are Yammy trail bike flashers mounted handlebar style on the back grab handles)
