Loose pipe in engine bay

Anyone recognise this?

Sorry for the dirty engine bay, but while checking for a air leak, I found this pipe/hose at the rear of the engine.

Is it supposed to be loose? Its lying horizontally so I dont think its a drip tube?

Its the small white one Im reffering to.

Hoping someone can nip out and take a look to see if there's is loose or connected to somthing?

FFRR has suggested it could be the rear washer tube, so I'll check that out this weekend.

Never looked at a RR so a complete stab in the dark, but a similar tube on mine is the diff breather.
