villiers diesel genset

looking at buying a Villiers diesel genset in noise absorbing surround. planning ahead wanted an air cooled set as it may be moved to cold country. anyone had any experience with the new villiers. I had worked on some of the very old petrol stuff but have no experience with their diesels.

Just like everything else they are made in China,
apart from the logo ( how can they use that) they have no relation to the Villiers of old that we all know & love

you can get the same generator that does not pretend to be anything but Chinese for half the price. Yanmars are great engines , no matter how its branded.
