computer problems

hi can anyone please help? i have been having problems with my 2007 D3. i appears to have issues when i turn the lights on. the other night after i planted my foot the the drive selector wouldn't change gears unless i put it into sports select to change gears. i pulled over to reset by locking the car 3 times however the car wouldn't turn off even withe the key out of ignition. once i turned the lights of the car stopped. today when driving through the tunnel the car suspension dropped when i stopped and rebooted the car with the lights off it was fine. can anyone suggest any solutions?

How old is your battery, because it is usually the root of these type of problems. The other thing is the brake light switch.
There will be many more replies on this subject from some of the more learned people on this site. You will be put on the right track.

Have you recently replaced any tail light bulbs or checked to see if your taillights are both working?
