Paul and Andy have decided to let Hard Range go after 3 years.
Anyone who has dealt with us will know that we are the type of blokes who would rather not do something unless we do it right. Due to other commitments, we can't sustain a focus on the business and give it the attention it deserves.

The good will toward the business is quite significant, so we have two options:
1. Close it down while the reputation is good; or
2. Sell it to someone who can put the effort in to growing it to where it deserves to be.

Hard Range Australia Pty Ltd (HRA) has a good reputation around the world for quality products and great service.

Value of stock on hand is approx $7000, including:
1x HRA P38 Range Rover Raised Air Intake/ (to be used as mould) plus drawings.
HRA P38 Range Rover lift kit components, un-assembled plus drawings (no air springs or shocks).
3x new P38 Leather Steering wheels.
Approx 30 LED lamps and light bars.
Approx 10 EAS Unlock Cables.
Enough components to assemble approx 100 EAS Valve Block o-ring repair kits.
Components for EAS Compressor seals, thermal switch and brushes.
Several P38 Brake Modulator Repair Kits.
A netbook computer and tablet computer (old).
Misc diagnostics leads for Blackbox products.
Misc air fittings and valve blocks to make EAS Emergency Bypass Kits, breather kits and on-board air kits.

Original instructions for kits and other business documents, including full company accounts for the past 3 years, and supplier contacts.

Ownership of hardrange.com and hardrange.com.au domains will be transferred with the sale. The new owner will be responsible for new hosting arrangements, although I am willing to continue hosting in the short term by arrangement.

Continuation of the PayPal, eBay and Commonwealth Bank accounts is by negotiation. The eWay merchant services account is in the process of being closed.

Asking price for the business $14,000.

The original Hard Range P38 Range Rover (my personal vehicle, not owned by the business) has been the test mule for development of products and is also offered for sale (without custom front or rear bars, and current 33" tyres - but the old 33" tyres will be included) for and additional $11,000 which also includes a Nanocom Evolution diagnostics tool. Update: CAR SOLD

This would be a good investment for someone who has the time, energy and enthusiasm to help other P38 enthusiasts, or as an adjunct to an existing business that has a focus on Land Rovers and Range Rovers.

Serious offers and inquires only to me via pm or info@hardrange.com

Cheers, Paul.

Paul:
I'm not in a position currently to obtain the "whole" Hard Range Business, but if you have problems selling/issues obtaining your asking price I would be certainly keen on obtaining the Raised Air Intake and getting further models made (I require at least 3 personally at the moment)...

Sorry to hear that Paul; a lot of time and effort have gone into building the business to the level of regard people have for it, to which you guys deserve a big round of applause.

Hope your sticking around though...

Thanks Benji, I have been overwhelmed by the amount of positive comments from various forums. It is quite humbling :)

I am by no means getting out of LR/RR ownership, just changing how I am engaged to reflect my priorities.

Update as of 21-Feb-2013:
The P38 Range Rover "Hard Rangie" test mule and showcase vehicle for the business has been sold.

The business is still up for grabs, and I am now fielding inquiries from a couple of known (i.e. not the scammers) overseas businesses who want to capitalise on "the brand" we have built over the years.

Sell price for the business with stock is now $12k to reflect sale of stock since announcement on 17-Feb-2013.
Sell price for the business without stock is $7k.

I think you might have missed that boat, the thread is over a decade old.

That is sad to hear even after all these years, I think I still have a D2 EAS bypass kit lying around somewhere IIRC.

Do you have any idea if someone is doing those swaps?

Why are you breaking me? Do you want to break my oars? I have a passion and love for this beautiful car

I love the P38 range. My wife and children saw your responses and were very impressed by your visuals. Hahahahaha.

It's perfectly understandable.
Because they want a new car.

Probably best to post in this thread https://www.aulro.com/afvb/wanted-adverts/
for any parts you want.
