Lost keys

I had my only set of keys stolen while I was away at work recently.
I had a quick chat with a locksmith who reckons it would be upwards of $1000 to get a new set cut from the existing locks.
Is there a way to replace both the ignition and door locks without the original key?

If you have a VIN Land Rover should be able to give you the key specs so you get one cut, or they might be able to supply some more.

I agree with Rick on approaching Land Rover and as you're in Perth the options are a bit limited.

Based on personal experience, I find Southern Land Rover on the Canning Highway significantly better to deal with than Barbagellos in Osborne Park, especially on Defender matters.
