Hi Everyone
My rear drivers side electric window has ground to a crunching halt.Grinding noises came from it and the window would only go half way up..(in the rain of course)
After pulling the door card off I mananged to get the window up with the help of a piece of wood...
It does not look to complicated to replace except I cant get to the upper bolts, they are behind the glass, any tricks to doing this.
Cheers Paul

Does - or can - the glass come out first? Failing that, leave the lump of wood there...:wasntme:

The glass is in its runners, attached to the regulator by one torqe screw.I'm thinking if I remove that then the glass will drop down and I can then get to the upper screws.I dont want to start anything I cant finish.....The regulator has to come from the UK, no stock in Australia.
The lump of wood is still there and holding well.......ha ha

Thanks Laurie for the glass removal instructions.
Do you have the procedure for refitting the door handle on the same door, I dont have any knuckles left.....and still the handle wont work.

Hi Laurie
Thanks for the pdf, its actually the interior R/H rear door.I cant get the cable to fit back onto the interior door handle.
It came off easy when I took the door card off,but reattaching it to the handle has me stumped...
Cheers Paul
