Rear Right hand indicator not working, 85 County

Dear Panel,

My r/hand indicator indicates twice as fast with the rear one not flashing. Thought this will be easy to fix and assumed it was the bulb. No such luck. Checked the fuse. Seems ok. What should I check next before its off to the Auto electrician?

Check the contacts that the bulb sits on in the light, They become weak/corroded over time and stop connecting. can be hard to see sometimes so get a test light/ multimeter/ even a spare light fitting and test for power getting there. If you have power at the light , well you are halfway there. Check earth wire connections too.

Take the cover off, and while indicating right jiggle the bulb. I have found this fixes this problem every time.
