6 Weeks to go

We leave on the 13th April for a planned trip to Northern NSW. We are going to spend hopefully about 8 days in the Guy Fawkes National Park and then return home via Ballarat to see the Son and then to Donald in Victoria for a family reunion.

D3 is just about ready except for a full service and inspection, camper is in for a service next week, waypoints and route has been finalised for the VMS now to start collecting the dry foods.

Didn't see it last time, stayed at the caravan park and ate at the pub, left the next morning............... There is a lake there?

Are you talking about the caravan park lake that is in the town or Lake Buloke that is north of Donald?

Hi Richard,

We took off on Boxing Day for a 3.5 week trip across to Melbourne and then down to Tassie in the County. We didn't take a camper trailer or the roof rack, so the car was pretty full with the 4 of us and all our gear.

Im not sure what your travel plans are, but the only time we travelled at night was for 30 minutes heading into Eucla, and with all the roos, that felt like 30 minutes too long.

Lake Buloke that is north of Donald?

Thats the one,, we raced on it in 2011 and last year it was totally underwater:eek:
