composite head gaskets v steel

need to put my spare engine back into use..... now re head gaskets ,i have a copper composite one ,the engine had a steel gasket, is there any disadvantage to going with the composite one?

ps re ringed and bores within standard spec , new inlet valves

In my opinion the composite is better.
