From memory,

Oil & oil filter.
Pollen filter.
Brake fluid drain & flush.

That's it I think.

From memory the fuel & air filters are the next service.

I think somewhere on AULRO there is a service schedule & you may want to have a search for it.

$675ish

Probably because the same thing at an independent would be half that price.

Rollin Over, are you talking about a D4 SDV6 3.0L?
If so, then the service intervals are 26,000kms/12 months.

"Before I tell you the final price sir, would you mind stepping over to your left a little?"

"What, next to the rubbery, spongy bit of the floor? What's that there for? I'm fine where I am"

"Ok, Final price for replacing 7 litres of oil, 2 filters, and having the guy out the back with the pierced eyebrow throw some dirty water over it, is....... $675"

[THUD]

"Well I did give sir the option of the soft landing"

Won't be long now and you will need to apply for a loan just for servicing....I still like my old Falcon $8 ryco Z9 lube oil filter. $30 for oil. And I can do it myself as I can see the sump plug and find the filter.
the D4 I don't bother with yet still got corporate servicing on it.

Yes all I know is the car has only done 49,000km and I was told it is due for the 72,000km

This will be the last Oil Service the dealer is doing because it runs out of warranty in June. They are doing a full check over as well.

It might be advisable to get an independant to do the check over prior to it running out of warranty, it simply isn't in LR's best interests to point out things that you haven't noticed whilst still under warranty.

The engine oil isn't cheap... i was quoted nearly $500 for a 20l drum from the Castrol distributor in Darwin.

Thats for Castrol Edge Professional C1.
