Hi Folks,
My camper Trailer has a heavy duty zipper that attaches the cover to the base. It occasionally gets very stiff to operate. I was wondering about trying some silicon spray lubrication, but thought I'd ask here if anyone has tried this before giving it a go.
Cheers,

Coop

Give it a good scrub inside and out with a nail brush and mild detergent, then when it's dry, spray it with PTFE spray(teflon). Get it from a auto parts shop.

candle wax or bees wax works well if youre going to go the PFTE (or other goes on wet sets up dry) lube be careful the "carrying agent" doesnt stain or otherwise affect the stitching/material.

I use a silicon spray that does a good job. I also use it on sliding surfaces of my boomspray instead of grease because it doesn't attract dust.

Thanks everyone, much appreciated.
Graeme, what's a boomspray? Is it a spray arm that hangs out the back of a tractor/truck/cropduster?
Cheers,
