Try running IE, and installing it using this. Might be a Win8/FireFox issue.
I've installed it on Win8, but I can't remember if I used IE or Chrome (which is my default browser).

Thanks for your suggestion but with my limited knowledge of computer software it was little help. I can't find axtive x and W8 is a mystery. Apparently flash player ism an integral part of W8 but where is it? If it is there why do certain sites ask me to install it? I need to be talked through this mess before I dump everything and go back to W7.:mad::mad:

I can't believe no-one knows! This is driving me mad as every second site I look at tells me to download it but W8 stops it from being installed. Jim :mad::mad:

Is 'Shockwave Flash' enabled in FireFox?
Look in your FireFox 'Addins Manager', In 'Addins Manager' look in your 'Plugins'
If it is installed you should see it listed there. It will say either 'Disabled' or 'Enabled'.

Well Well.... It just asked me to install it for about the 12th time and the stupid program installed. Don't ask me how or why. Jim :D:D:D:D

Jim, you don't need to load Flash into it, as its already integrated in the system.
If you watch your flicks on the main desktop as apposed to the Windows screen. It will require going into tools and just switching to your desktop.
