Maaate...sounds great !

Mine is the Bonati Grey D2 with black TJM bar with Super Cibie Oscars, LR ladder, Rhino bars x 3 and Grabbers. 5 speed v8. Those boys did my cam upgrade head work, new timing gear etc and the SGI in BRC guise. With the freeflowing exhaust it all came together very nicely. They are now doing my 5 speed box, rear main and transfer case. She will be like a new truck...but what it wont be will be a 4.6 you bugger!!

Cheers

I'm just not trying to get too carried away Cannon,, it still needs a 4.6 fuel map;):o:cool:

am now wondering about a second hand ECU from the states,, but it would probably require a smith and wesson to be within key range for it to start:p

and the word from BOR is My Way is now the BOR Highway,, no more second hand stuff.

and No Ozscott, no it wont.:p:p

D2 V8 Tech Trivia;):D

BOR did an interesting thing with the heads/gasket/studs--
They were a bit concerned about the Nm's when they took the heads off,,
so after a bit of net research (!) they decided on normal torqueing procedure using old head bolts (at a much higher number of Nm's). , then they replaced one bolt at a time with a stud and torqued that,,
makes sense.

on a sideways note, its interesting how BOR had not done one exactly like mine before.

Hey Pedro, you missed a question earlier.

I asked them to stud mine. They talked me into new good quality bolts and single torque down gaskets instead.

No I dont want a race unless we have to start in second gear and short shift to fifth...:)

Ah ok... Well, ignoring it made it look like you missed it. :p

Just wondered if it compares (or higher or lower) to the cost of a 4.6 long from TRS.

As the old saying goes "If you need to ask how much it is, you can't afford it"

Wrong, but right... I can't afford it, but it's good to know the costs of things, because the future is unknown.
