Hi guys,
I had a bullbar (not ARB, which I was considering getting) fitted today and I am not entirely happy with the product thus far. Before I go and try and rectify the issues I was wondering if any of you nice folk could take some photos/explain some things on the ARB bar for me as its rare to see a D4 parked with one that I can investigate myself. I'm not sure at this stage whether it is a fitting issue or my bar.
The main things are the panel gap to the lights and flares, what sort of spacing is it meant to be.
Does the bar stick out an even amount to the flares on both sides
Does a Warn 9.5XP fit up nicely?
What do the underside bash plates look like? Do they hang down a mile for the washer bottle and to make it look even on both sides. Do they seal well inside the wheel arch and at the front near the tow point to prevent mud from filling up the bar? Are they made from sturdy steel?
Can you see the bullbar top tube from the drivers seat?
I appreciate any help you can provide.
Robert
