Hi everyone,

long time lurker - but this is my first post.

After a 10 year absence from Defender ownership, I have finally been able to get back into the fold!

Early in the new year, I picked up my new 110. Very, very happy, and I can certainly notice the improvement from my earlier version - specifically in terms of power delivery and cabin comforts.

Since picking it up, I have installed a tow bar (factory LR) and a Mantec snorkel.

Currently investigating options for a bullbar and winch.

Thanks to all of the regular members on the forum as you helped immensely with my research in reading all of your various questions and answers over the last few months.

Anyhow, I understand the rules are that pictures must be provided ;) so here you go.

cheers,

Wayne

Thanks for all the welcomes!

Sue - it was some of your photo's that convinced me to go with the Nara bronze. I think it really suits the car and am very happy with it.

Largerfan - I know some on the forum have fitted an 'old style' ARB bar and removed one of the cross bars which block the driving lights. I'm considering going down that path or the factory style Mantec bar and getting a custom A frame made for it. Still trying to find out if this will fit the LE/SVX style grill.

LoveB - I got the factory towbar from the dealer for $430 (fitted it myself - very easy). I got the snorkel from Ritters - $350 (again - fitted it myself - very easy).

Next step is to fit the dual battery system I have sitting in the shed :D

cheers,

Wayne

Oooh.. I wonder if Land Rover will give me commission lol.. :p

It is a great colour, I really like it.. only downsides is that it is hot and any acquired pin striping stands out more than it would on another colour.. I don't care though.. I like it and that's enough for me.. :)
