When I put the emergency eas kit in I found out that there was a very minor leak in the tank connection to the valve block. But it was so little that the car still had enough air to go up even after sitting for a day or two. Only knew there was a leak because the gauge went down to 100PSI overnight and a vague bubble from detergent.
But it has now got a little worse and goes down overnight and I don't really wanna wear the pump out having to pump the tank every day.
I have taken the hose out of the quick connect and cut the end off hoping it would fix the problem but no luck there. It appears like it is not leaking where the hose goes into the connector but around the outside/button part of the connector, perhaps where the connector goes into the valve block? Is this likely?
I'm guessing I may have to pull all the bits off the top and get the valve block out to fix the connector, replace the connector or just replace an o-ring?
