Hi Folks.
I spent lots of time as a kid in my grandfathers Landy on the farm and about town in SA's Eyre Peninsula. It was the first car my mother drove at the age of about 10. I 'drove' it when I was 7 or 8. Grandpa would put it in gear, let it roll on a gentle slope, climb out onto the tray and throw hay out for the sheep. I'd just steer it but man was it fun.
I'm keen to know he whereabouts of it now.
I was bought to Adelaide about 15 years ago by the family, tidied up a little and sold.
It was about 1950's from my research, beige in colour with a flat tray and timber sides. It may be a series 2...
I seem to recall it had a recon ford engine in it.
Spare was tied to the timber slats behind the single cab.
I think the rims were painted red or yellow (eeek) as a part of the tidy up.
Can anyone shed any light on its whereabouts?
Cheers
