Hi, probably done to death, but is there any compelling reason why I can't use 3.9 Injection 14cux on a P 4.4? I have a couple lying around one is quite good, I have inlet spacers and I would use the rover heads? Is there much advantage to going this way, power etc? thanks

I had a p76 in a late 89 range rover[concealed bonnet and door hinges] with the spacers and injected heads and a "malaggi"[i think] fuel pressure regulator, it was thirsty but it went very very well

Like noticiably better than a 3.5/3.9? I wonder if your RR had the fuel pressure increased to compensate for the bigger displacement? Did it overheat? thanks

It never overheated and loved spinning wheels, that fuel pressure regulator was like a governor and if it was wound in i would be flat out at 80ks, i rang "davis rovers" i think and there advice was it would go betterstill if fitted with jaguar 4.2 injectors, i didnt because it went well and i didnt have the internet back then to source the stuff at the right price, it had holden pistons in it
