Cause I can see one online for sale at the moment. ;) it clearly looks like eBay letters were ordered and applied.

My wife's last car was a BMW 320d. We had some repair work done on the rear after her backing into the letterbox (BTW the letterbox hasn't moved in 10 years).
Wasn't until about 2 weeks after the repair that we noticed they have put the 'd' upside down.
The badge read '320p'.
Quite funny I thought, however the other half didn't laugh....
