Puma Aircon Playing Up

My Aircon is as the subject line says is playing up.

Every five to ten minutes the Aircon stops cooling and feels as if it has shut down.

If I turn it off for two minutes and then turn on again it starts cooling. There is mist coming from the vents just before it stops cooling. In Brisbane a black dfer can be quite hot in summer.

Anyone had the same?

Sounds like its freezeing. Think that's the evaporator at fault.

Yup.. it seems to be a common problem in some of the Puma's.. I had mine fixed under warranty a week ago and it's working fine now.

They replaced the Sensor - Temp Evaporator. (Part # LR 036309) as it was freezing after the air con was on for ten minutes or so..

Exacatly as Sue says. Mine had the mist from the vents as well. Sensor replaced and all good. Known fault so should be no problem under warranty.
