Leaking rear brake assembly

If things happen in threes, here's number 2 :censored:. While recording Nigel's new bad habit of blowing smoke.....I noticed that the inside right rear tyre was wet from an obvious leak.
Having had a shock fail on me before, I first thought that this was the case again, but nooo, the brake calliper housing appears to have been coated in oil as well (over a period of time....).

I've typed in all manner of search strings to troll through the forum, to no avail.
So, again, I seek your collective guidance. Am I looking at a 'big' job here, are there special tools required? Is this something a kit would fix or should I look for a replacement caliper unit? Or am I getting carried away with ideas that I should have a go at fixing this myself.....

I would susspect your inner hub seal/on stub axle, the stub axle may also be scored and need a speedy sleeve or replacement, not hard to do depending on your skill level

is it oil or brake fluid ( put your finger in it and smell / taste )

Fluid would not be leaking from the top if it was a seal issue,
have you checked to make sure the the flare nut or bleed nipple hasn't come loose.

be sure to top the fluid up.

Well, it wasn't brake fluid Goingbush so I've pulled the hub apart and tomorrow it'll all go back together with new seals in place and all should be good. I'll finish degreasing the hub, check the bearings while its apart, repack and reinstall and I should be happy by the end of the day.

Rdrovertdi- the stub axle has 'signs' of where the seal has been running. While the mark is visible, it isn't scored enough to be felt with a fingernail so its been cleaned up with some 1200 paper (thanks Steve) and it'll be back in play tomorrow:D
