View Full Version : What roof racks will fit these

Hello all, I have been searching through the previous topics and can't really find and answer so I thought I would just ask straight out.

I recently bought my D3 and it has a set of rails already to take a set of roof racks but from what I can gather there is a difference between the factory ones and the Rhino aftermarket type.

My question is rather simple, which one do I have?

A Baja rack will fit or a Wind Cheetah. Those look like factory rails. You will have some other choices out there as well.

Look like Rhino to me,particularly with the pop rivet in the rear.Doesn't look like it is sealed real well either,or it could be the pic.if it isn't a bit of sikaflex over it would be good.

Any Autobarn will have rhino stuff,so you could go to one and ask them.They will have the legs and rails.

i have the rhino on mine with the HD bars.

The main difference between factory rails and Rhino ones are that the factory ones are level or horizontal and the Rhino ones are angled outwards.
The Rhino racks have smaller internal dimensions.
To me they look like OEM racks.
If that is the case then D3-D4 Bajaracks will fit .

I'm quite certain you have Rhino racks, that's what I have and they appear identical to mine. As per previous post Auto One stock lots of Rhino gear.

Or Autobahn.. BTW if any one is after a set of Rhino rails I have some for sale - brand new in packaging never opened. Will put them on the market place on this site or pm me.

Ok just wanted to confirm that they are Rhino tracks. I got in contact with the previous owner and he still had the roof racks as he was hoping to fit them to his new vehicle but they were not going to fit so he sold them to me. All I have to do is organise the roof basket and I am in business.
