Does anyone know if you can fit Series 3 doors to a Defender ute? I rolled my Defender and totalled both doors, and sadly the proper ones are both very expensive and hard to find. Ive tracked down a Series 3 set of doors, but dont want to buy them if they wont fit.

you will need S3 door tops as well - sliding window instead of wind-up window :(

Ah bugger. well defender doors go on s3 so i guess s3 go on defenders but the door slider thingy is different.
You may find some county ones somewhere that are cheaper

Just bolt on hinges the same but door catches need changing they are the 'burst proof type'.

Then you can fit Rocky Mounain door tops and it'll be like a real Landrover.

Good setup.

I've done it on 2 of my Defender/ Counties.

Yes, it is a change that I plan to do on mine.

If your existing doors have lift up locks, you probably have the right latch on the 'B' pillar, otherwise you will have to use one for the burst proof lock - not legal to use the older non-burst proof lock.

The S3 door stay is different, but you can make a bracket to suit - see pic below of how the army 110's have the bracket on S3 doors.
