Head lamp D2 pre update

I got a smashed headlamp and replaced with a second hand lens however it is not throwing a good beam I think the lens has discoloured, where is the best place to get a new lamp from without paying toooo much? I see on ebay Magneti Marelli Brand for $130 is this a good brand and is this a reasonable price?

Try some of the rover wreckers or british specialists.
Second hand ones come up on wrecker ebay pages for about $40

I'm pretty sure magnetti marelli are the original equipment manufacturer for the headlights.

Just by chance a couple of days ago I noticed my 2002 has Carello headlights, which may or may not be OEM as the car has had a couple of small prangs.
