View Full Version : finding a defender dash bracket

Sometime in the past couple of years I read an article in LRO magazine by one of the staff about fitting an aftermarket bracket to stop his dash flopping around.
My dash is now only held in place by one screw, the remainder of the plastic has broken away on the others and it rattles like a bugger.
I cant for the life of me find that magazine in the house or shed, Nor have i been able to find anything on AULRO or any other site.
Can anyone steer me in the right direction.
Cheers

Fairly sure All Four x 4 spares at Kotara have them as well.

If it is the binnacle mount as per the link to Raptor, in nod 130's post, then one of the advertisers here, APT Fabrications in QLD, also makes them (http://www.aptfabrications.com.au/defender/product/62-binnacle-mount).

I bought one recently from APT, and was pleased with the product, service and prompt delivery.

When you install it, would you mind taking some photos and listing what needs to com off. I need to do my td5 and am hoping this is an easy job.
