If you want your repro body panels to look like factory made , try this

What volts would there be at the tip?
I believe that the 220 volts refered to is the input voltage of the machine.

Not much voltage will develop across the metal stack, I'd be surprised if it got to double figures.

I remember you telling me years ago to use two strips of stainless steel on the outside, but I still haven't got round to trying it :D
