I got a "new" 2001 HEVAC Control Panel from the US (or UK, cant remember now) a while ago, with heated sets and front screen controls. Swapped it over in the 2000 HSE today with limited success.
The outside temp reading sticks at 0DegC and the other buttons appear to work ok.
Not too concerned whether the seats and windscreen work yet... have read Glen's post at http://www.aulro.com/afvb/p38a-range-rover/141387-goals-todays-workday-2.html... thanks Glen, just worried that there is an internal issue with the Control Panel.
Hooked up the Nanocom to check ECU revision levels
old HEVAC CP = 3
new HEVAC CP = 5
The yellow Valeo sticker is missing from the new unit so can't compare numbers on that.
The "dials" on the plastic case indicate the old one is 98-8 and the new one is 98-3. I am wondering if the new one is in fact from a pre-99 model, although the ECU revision levels indicate the new one is newer?
The pins on the new unit look ok, none bent.
Any suggestions how to get this working please guys?
