Do you have a wheel carrier ? Dolium also sell them, but go on the passenger side. This one I don't think would fit my D4 due to where the wheel is located on the wheel carrier location.

I'm pretty happy with the Dolium one on my D3. As mentioned goes on the passengers side but this coincides with the wide part of the tailgate so you dont step off the edge.

Any chance you could post a picture of the fitted rear access ladder for disco 4 with the tailgate open. Also can you tell me how far the top of the ladder protrudes back towards a roof rack when the tailgate is open. Trying to determine if it will hit my full length rhino rack pioneer.

Shouldn't go anywhere near hitting your roof rack when tailgate is open. ;)
