I am about to start work on one of my cars and suspect I may have rust in some of the sill stiffener panels inside the sills. I would prefer not to have to remove the sills to check so thought using a good quality bore scope to inspect the sill cavity.

I have a basic scope but it does not have very good resolution and the camera area is a bit scratched.

So does anyone know of a hire organisation that hires out good quality bore scopes. I have drawn a blank with the local Kennards.

Thanks

Garry

I hire instruments from Tech-Rentals here in Brisbane- I think they're nationwide.

My mate has a bore scope for a Centurion 105mm gun! You know one that goes in the breech. :D

If you were in Sydney I'd lend you my Snap On one. Best $500 I spent, was incredibly handy when I was a technician.

However, if you are friendly with a mechanic shop, they are more than likely to have one.

And they are no better than what I have and are basically crap. In fact the one I have is higher specd that those - Ok for reading engine numbers but that is about it.
