Can't unlock car.

Hey everyone!

Brand new to land rovers, just picked up my first disco a little over a week ago and now I have my first emergency!

My main battery has died so I can't unlock my doors with the remote. I tried to use the manual key lock on the door but that seems to be broken, as I turn the key all it makes is a clicking noise.

Is the any other way into the car?

If I can get in, I should be able to start it by switching over to the auxiliary battery.

If anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated.

Grab another battery & jumper leads.

Crawl underneath and attach jumper lead to starter motor main power.

Attach negative to body. Then attach leads to the battery.

Now try and open doors and take it from there.
