Well, this little lot should let me use the angry peddle in the 130 with a bit more gusto!!! Hi tough axle shafts all round, Ashcroft CV's, a Detroit for the rear Salisbury and a Truetrac for the front.. Sooooo, what'll break next???? Final plan is a TD42 engine and Pa***l gearbox against the LT230... Mr Ashcroft might be deployed again with the center diff......

bit of a spending spree eh,

if your putting patrol gearbox why not a patrol transfer case and live with part time 4wd

I put a Nissan G60 transfer case in my 90 hybrid and it was bulletproof, as were the Nissan unis & slip joints, but the external band handbrake not much chop, meybe the later nissan TC's arent as strong ??, (with the G60 you could even select low range 2wd - that was fun )

Yeah! Sold the off roader as was never using it so decided to make the 130 reliably usable... The Pootrol lump will be built up and tweaked in the original rotten vehicle then transplanted. Re transfer, yeah I hear you, but wouldn't be without the Defender 'pull' out of corners. Ya just can't go round corners in a Patrol like ya can in a Fender!! :)
