I use it but have never had to do a restore, do you have the files it creates, to restore from ?
If so it should be a simple process to retore the profile for Thunderbird, following the steps.
If you don't have the backup files that were created I think you're in for some pain.

I use it a lot when upgrading/ rebuilding pc's, you need to have backups created by mozbackup first. Just run the program and it gives you the option to create a backup or restore from a backup, really easy to use.

OK So I set up the program on my doner pc and on my new pc. Backed up on old pc to thumb drive. plugged in to new pc and restored files. Everything came across ok except my address book. Had to do it the hard way and re-enter the data manually, so all ok now. Jim
