Hi All,

Restoring a 1960 SWB Series 2 - with the standard 4cyl 2.25 petrol engine.

I would like to replace the fuel hoses - and have a few questions:

Can I buy a complete replacement hose kit? (If so - where?)

I have seen braided steel lines - while these are probably a better quality than the original rubber ones, are they legal in OZ?

There is a hose from the fuel tank to the fuel pump, and then from the pump to the carby? (Are these the same size hose?)

I tried searching on this site, as I think that I read something about it recently but unfortunately I couldn't find the thread. Sorry.

As always - any advice is greatly accepted with open arms!

I think I would take the original hoses to an outfit that makes up hydraulic hoses and get them made to match, making sure they know what they are for. Later 2a onwards used different (semi-rigid nylon) hoses.

Hi All,

Just for anybody interested - I took the original fuel hoses to an autopro store and they matched them on the spot.

Easy peasy.
