Rotronics RM12 dual battery ontroller - instructions?

My Disco it has a Rotronics RM12 installed (by previous owner). There is no 2nd battery in place at the moment and I'm not sure which wires for the monitor portion go where.

Does anyone have a manual / instructions for this unit?

They'd be handy even if it comes down to working out all the bits of the system and removing it - I do have a Traxide SC40 I could instal instead.

Have a mate who is a fitter at Opposite Lock, says the Rotronics units are *a waste of money*. He helped me install my SC80 and reckons its all you need, simple and reliable.

Yes I was thinking of ripping it out and putting in the SC40 I have lying around and never installed in the Defender....
