Alright, this is a must do for me if things turn out right in the money dept.
For a long while I was fawning over every other brand of vehicle for the basis of a 4x4 motorhome and then it hit me like a ton of bricks.
I have the best 4x4 in the world siting on the front lawn, so why not turn that into a motorhome?
The 110 is a 09 puma ute and I want to build/prefab a home onto the chassis.
Not so much of a problem as it will be sorted out when attaching the module, but I need to extend/open up the rear of the cab so that my 6'2" 110 kilo frame can squeeze in a bit better than it does now and offer through passage in emergencies or nasty weather.
Want a bed over cab arrangement and probably pop top for less wind resistance.
So why am I posting, well i need ideas from you lot. For example: beefing up the rear suspension, fitting a flush toilet that I can pump out as I hate the idea of carrying the poop in a cartridge if that is what they do and of course inside/outside H+C shower.
Solar power requirements for staying bush longer and of course the batteries have to go somewhere, fridge options like, pull out shelf types that take up less space and are at an ergonomic height. (don't know why they don't produce fridge type shelves for the back of wagons as it would be a hole easier to slide out than all that contraption like device that swings the fridge low so you can see inside)?
Decent bloody stove and sink, this could go outside, but remember it is not always fine weather and without flies and what is this new diesel cooker option?
And to top it off, a 2 seater dinette.
What have I forgot? Well I will leave that up to you.
Remember, all of your ideas will be of great use when it comes time to seek quotes for the build, so knock yourselves out............
