hey all,

any recommendations for a small tube bender that will do 6mm/1/4 steel fuel line? needs to bend past 90 degrees and tight bends.

cheers

Check out tube Benders on eBay for idea's, they have ones for that size pipe, like the ones plumbers use for bending copper.

I've got one similar to this:

Regal 3 IN 1 Tube Bender Tubing Pipe 99444 B1N5 | eBay (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/REGAL-3-IN-1-TUBE-BENDER-TUBING-PIPE-99444-B1N5-/190635120402?pt=AU_Air_Tools&hash=item2c62bd1712)

Had it for over 20 years and it gets used for things like 5/16 steel trans cooler pipe quite happily. 180 degree bends require two bites with the tool so it's not absolutely perfect. You can go down to 50mm width between the sides of an 180 bend.

Or these
T&E Tools 3/16" & 1/4" Brake Tube Bending Pliers (http://sostools.com.au/t-and-e-tools-3-16-and-1-4-brake-tube-bending-pliers.html) You can also make your own if you have a lathe by machineing grooves in to various size round stock and bending the pipe around it
