External Rear Vision Wiring

Have bumped, broken the rear vision mirror glass and am now replacing the glass.

I would like to ask what wire goes to what terminal on top corner the glass.

What is the purpose of the circuit going through the glass?

The adjustment/alignment motor operates ok ie in/out and up down.

Obviously you are talking about an outside wing mirror on the door. Rear vision would normally describe the main inside central mirror on the windscreen!

The wiring to the glass is for heating/demisting it.

If there are only two wires/connections on the glass then it will not matter which way you put them.

Seems we are both wrong about the correct name.

The OEM Spare parts label is "Mirror, Rear View, External"
