G'day fellow rail fanatics.
Have a look at the you tube clip I have attached. This would have to be one of the best miniature railways that I have seen. 7.5" gauge, featuring a UP Big Boy. Appears to be oil fired as per full scale. Magnificent. Then there is the infrastructure. Check out the immaculate trackage, manicured grounds, a tunnel and a unbelievable timber tressel bridge. The Big Boy consist is a passenger hauling but there is another loco with a magnificent set of scale goods stock. This is truly a dream railroad (American for railway!!) and I would love to replicate something here....once I won the lotto!!!
Regards
Robbo

What an awesome location and facility. Big Boy and the 3801 were two of my favourites as a kid. BTW, gutsy bridge with passengers!

There's a live steam Big Boy recently acquired from the UK now in Vic, here's a video of it operating at the Diamond Valley Railway.

I understand it has been bought for a new railway being built adjacent to the Puffing Billy.

An incredible miniature railway. I bet the model railway enthusiasts at the Edgeworth model railway would love that setup.!!!!:D:D

A couple of years ago I visited the miniature railway at Train Mountain at Chiloquin, Oregon TMRR (http://www.trainmountain.org).

It was closed to the public but they gave me a tour and a ride around the track (not ALL of it):

I wouldn't be able to help myself. I would have to see how fast it goes.
