Hi all,

I have an oil leak coming from the back of the head (drivers side) and leaking down over the FPR and onto the drive way. Thinking it to be the rear cam shaft seal I purchased one of these. What I did find however is that the rear cam seal is not leaking but a bolt with a round rubber grommit is leaking. What are these? There are two but only the one on the drivers side is leaking. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure how they can leak!?! They are there to hold the rear acoustic cover in place, but these are very commonly removed. You should be able to leave the bolts out without any ill effects. Are you sure the leak isn't originating from the cam cover gasket.

Cheers Paul,

My leak must be coming from the rocker cover or the cam inspection seal. Okay I will address these and see how I get on. Thanks for the reply.
