Has any one got any ideas on how I could track down the location of the dealer that my 52 series one was delivered to?
Transported on the Scottish star, delivered to L.C.S. William on the 29/5/52
Diana kindly tracked down this info for me, but after much searching I can't find a business, dealer, stock and station agent or any links on a location..any help would be welcome...pretty sure it came into either nsw or wa.

Depending on which state it went to different levels of info exist.

NSW, WA Have the most with the sales books still in existence

VIC does have some limited country dealer info you could be lucky

Sorry, should have mentioned that, it's 26161454. Original engine number checks out as correct.

The entity LCS William does not appear in the list of NSW dealers provided to Arthur Garthon by Grahame Jones NSW State manager for Grenville Motors. This doesn't mean that LCS William wasn't a dealer, but may be one missing from recollection.

It may also be the name of a freight forwarding company or stock and station agent. in 1952.

The vehicle was distributed by Grenville Motors, out of sequence as the only built up vehicle on a ship full of 7 CKD kit sets (42 other vehicles).
