Hi land rover enthusiasts,
My fiancé Alyce and I are getting married on the 29th March 2014 in Newcastle NSW. We would love to arrive to our ceremony and reception in Land rover defenders. Does anyone have some late model 2010/11/12/13 models and would be interested?
If there is anyone who would be willing to drive us or know anyone who has a defender we could talk to, we hope to hear from you.
We are hoping to get 2, as we have a bridal party totalling 13 people.
Cheers,
Matt and Alyce

I suspect that you'll be needing more than 2 cars for 13 people.. :o
Good luck, sorry I can't help as I'm too far away.. :)

Hi guys,
I should be able to help you out. (I will have a 5 month old baby by then...)
I live in Newcastle and have a 2011 Orkney Grey 110 wagon.
Here's a pic of the car: imgur: the simple image sharer (http://imgur.com/4r5ZRgY)
I promise to drive more appropriately on the day... Unless advised otherwise.
PM me and we'll swap details.
Cheers.

Hi Matt, welcome to the forum. If you haven't done already it would pay to post this in the Defender section, or in General Chat where it will get more exposure.:)

Happy to help out. Newcastle based 2009 SVX 110 #35. On the front cover of this months 4wd Action mag that came out today no. 198 if you want to see some pics. There's another black SVX on the central coast we may be able to convince as we'll as anther in Singleton that are close enough to make it three SVX 60th anniversary cars (almost matching) for the wedding that would create a truly epic gathering of deefers.

May be a long shot but try giving the local dealer a call? They may have an ex demo or 2 that's up for sale and may want the free advertising?

Hi Matt
I have a 2012 D90 LE the Nara Bronze with Black roof. Has seats in the back although a little cramped. Also have a 110 cab chassis but I doubt you will want that.
Good luck

Hi Matt, I have a 2000 Defender 110 in White if you are short of Defenders.
Nice one Matt , Am I the only one seeing what you are doing.
You a creating a emotional bond with the Defenders right from the start so when you pop the question to the misses ( let's get a Defender) , she will say yes.
Very smart , like you work:D

Matt and Alyce,
Firstly I love the idea and wish I had thought of it.
Next, I can offer the services of my 90. As has already been stated it might not be the best option for space but it can help make up the numbers.
I hope you can find enough, it will be glorious to see a long parade of Defenders with wedding ribbons on.
Simon.
